Timmy

by Kelly Morrissey

Pets have always played huge role in my house as a child. When I was growing up my family had a white poodle named "Tiny Tim" AKA Timmy. He went and did everything with us. He was such a ham; and loved every minute of all the attention. He loved to have his picture taken and would sometimes "smile". I even used to dress him in baby clothes and put him around in a baby carriage. He didn't care for the ride down the stairs though.

When I was a teenager my parents got into motorcycles and joined a group called the Retreads (touring bikes for the mature folks). My Dad had a special leather helmet and jacket made for Timmy. One summer they even traveled across country for 8 weeks on their bike and took the dog. I unfortunately was left home, Timmy toured the country and found his picture in many papers. Timmy has long since passed but his memory certainly lives on.
