Employee Appreciation Morale Booster A Gratitude Mural that Involves Everyone

November is Appreciation Month.

Instead of just celebrating on Thanksgiving, you can devote the whole month to getting your employees involved in appreciation activities. Here’s an idea to get you started.

Cover a long table with a roll of paper. Put a set of colored felt tip pens in a container on the table. Employees list or draw pictures of the things and the people they are grateful for. They can add photos as well. (Be sure to use a strong glue or a stapler for the photos.)

After everyone has had a chance to contribute, post the Gratitude Mural to the wall for all to see. Seeing what others are grateful for creates a spirit of appreciation in the workplace. If you have a large staff, you may want to create several murals and decorate the halls with them.

Need more Employee Appreciation ideas?
There are over 60 low-cost appreciation activities in the Employee Morale Center, so you will find many that are perfect for your staff. There are activities for supervisors to appreciate employees, and for employees to appreciate their co-workers.

Frequent morale boosters create the fuel that motivates and energizes employees so they can be happier and more productive.

However, we know that most managers are already stretched-to-the-limit, and don’t have extra time to spare.

That is why we have assembled the morale boosters for you in an easy to use area on our website called the -Employee Morale Center-. What’s best is that these all have been used successfully in the workplace.

Joke of the Week

A man went to visit a friend and was amazed to find him playing chess with his dog. He watched the game in astonishment for a while.

“I can hardly believe my eyes” he exclaimed.
“That’s the smartest dog I’ve ever seen.”

“Nah, he’s not so smart,” the friend replied.
“I’ve beaten him three games out of five.”
