A Unique Gift Exchange That Warms The Heart

Most holiday gift exchanges work by people picking a name out of a bowl and buying a present for that person. This year, add the gift of appreciation to each present by adding a letter or poem about the person and including it in the gift package. At your holiday party have each person open their gift and read the poem or letter that goes with it. These letters will warm the heart and will be treasured for a lifetime.

Answer to This Week’s Trivia Question

Q. How much water has to be removed from unsweetened homogenized whole milk for it to qualify as evaporated milk?

A. 60 percent.

Joke of the Week

Some race horses staying in a stable. One of them starts to boast about his track record. “In the last 15 races, I’ve won 8 of them.”

Another horse breaks in, “Well in the last 27 races, I’ve won 19.”

“Oh that’s good, but in the last 36 races, I’ve won 28.”, says another, flicking his tail.

At this point, they notice that a greyhound dog has been sitting there listening. “I don’t mean to boast,” says the greyhound, “but in my last 90 races, I’ve won 88 of them.”

The horses are clearly amazed. “Wow.” says one, after a hushed silence. “A talking dog.”
