In the past, we’ve done a “We Appreciate You a “Latte”” break time.

We provided different tasty coffees, hot chocolate and maybe even danish. This went over really well on a chilly day.

In this high-tech age, we delight in taking our grandchildren to our cottage, where we live without electricity.

On a recent visit, we pointed out to five-year-old Josh all the things we were able to do without: a computer, television, dishwasher and CD player.

It was when I mentioned the lack of a refrigerator that he got a startled look on his face. “No refrigerator?” he gasped. “Where will you put my artwork?”
