Trivia Question of the Week

Q. What is the name of moving energy? (Answer at the end of this newsletter.)

Employee Morale

Birthday Treasure Hunt

On someone’s birthday, have a treasure hunt for the birthday present.

How To Create Your Treasure Hunt

Create 5 notes – each with clues as to where they can find the next note. On the 5th note write the final clue as to where the gift is hidden.

Five different people can each write a clue. Be creative. Don’t make the clues too hard or too easy, and have one or two hints ready for each clue in case they are needed.

Hand the birthday person an envelope with the first clue. He or she will then search for the rest of the clues that will lead to the final clue and the birthday present.

Everyone will have fun watching the birthday celebrant as he or she hunts for the treasure.

Joke of the Week

Not being a very good cook, I usually opt for prepackaged, precooked food.

Never was my lack of culinary skills more evident than one day when, hearing the whir of the electric can opener, my husband asked our four-year-old what the noise was.

“That’s Mom,” he replied. “She’s making gravy.”
