Creative Juices – A Cool Idea

It is hot all over the country. Here’s a cool idea. Bring a blender to work and ask employees to bring in fruit, yogurt, and other ingredients they need to create their favorite smoothies.

Each person makes enough of their recipe for everyone to sample. Have the juices available in pitchers in the snack area.

Print the contributor’s name and recipe and place next to each one.

To encourage participation, make a contest out of this with employees voting for their favorite drink. The top three winners get prizes.

Joke of the Week

To learn more about her students, my son’s teacher sent home a lengthy questionnaire at the beginning of the school year. It asked about their likes and dislikes, and even included a question relating to their self-image: “When you look in a mirror, what do you see?”

My literal ten-year-old son had no trouble with his answer: “Myself, and everything behind me.”
