Fathers Day Picnic

June 15, 2014 is Fathers Day.

It’s a great time to celebrate with a picnic for your employees and their families. This will help employees get to know each other better and get along better at work.

Introducing the Families

Have everyone form a large circle. Then have one family at a time go to the center of the circle. The father then introduces his wife and children. Provide name tags for everyone.

Activities

  • Relay races
  • Softball game
  • Hide and Seek
  • Treasure Hunt

Award prizes to the winners.

Employees who do not have children can help run the activities and serve the food.

Joke of the Week

I recently overheard my ten-year-old son, Michael, and eight-year-old daughter, Christine, discussing which parent they should ask for permission to attend a sleepover. “I think I’ll ask Dad,” Michael decided.

“Yeah,” Christine replied. “Dad makes the decisions.” After a second, she continued, “And Mom tells him if he’s right.”
