Employee Morale Activity

Heart Healthy Valentine Party

Have a Pot Luck Valentine Party. On your invitation, ask everyone to wear something red and bring a Heart Healthy food for the lunch, (or snacks if you are not able to do it at lunch time) along with enough copies of the recipe for each person.

Make Valentine signs for everyone to wear. Take 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of paper or cardstock. Turn them sideways and punch two holes at the top of each. Put red ribbon through the holes so that people can wear them around their necks as signs.

At a table have colored markers for employees to each decorate their own sign with the names of people, pets, or things that they love.

This will help employees get to know each other on a personal level.

After a dessert of valentine raspberries and strawberries give employees time to talk about their signs.

If you have too many people and not enough time for everyone to talk – create groups of from 5 – 7 people and share within the group.

There is a senior citizen driving on the highway. His wife calls him on his cell phone and in a worried voice says,

”Herman, be careful! I just heard on the radio that there is a madman driving the wrong way on Route 280!”

Herman says, ”I know, but there isn’t just one, there are hundreds!”
