Trivia Question of the Week
Q. Who starred with Will Smith in the movie ‘Men In Black’? (Answer at the end of this newsletter.)
Employee Morale
Karaoke Singing
Contributed by Stefani M. Crumley
We had Karaoke singing during lunch and dinner times in our cafeteria and had all of our leadership team signed up to sing songs. It was so enjoyable that many employees wanted to take a shot at singing, too. We had people lined up to sing. It was great because it was an interactive activity that was fun for employees, and it also showed a lot of hidden talent of our employees.
(Karaoke singing is done with a karaoke machine. Put a karaoke tape of the music in the machine, and the words of the song show up on a TV screen. People then sing along to the music either individually or as a group. You can rent a Karaoke machine, or one of your employees may own one you can borrow.)

Joke of the Week
My ten-year-old son phoned me at work to ask me to take him to a store when I got home.
“Which store?” I asked. “Any store.”
“What do you want to buy?”
“It’s a surprise,” he told me.
It took a few more questions before he explained that his fortune cookie the night before predicted, “There will be a surprise in store for you.”
