Employee Morale Activity:

Farewell to Football Day Activity

The Super Bowl is this Sunday

This is a great time to create some team spirit and celebrate the Super Bowl and the end of football season.

On Friday ask everyone wear T-shirts from their favorite football team.

Have a Farewell to Football lunch. Different tables, or parts of a long table should be decorated for the two Super Bowl teams. At the luncheon employees choose which of the 2 Super Bowl teams they are rooting for and sit at the appropriately decorated table.

Then, each table has to create a team cheer for their Super Bowl Team and stand up and perform it for everyone. If you have a lot of people, you can divide up into groups of 5-7 people and take turns performing cheers.

Have employees write down their guess about what the score will be for the Super Bowl game. (The week after the game you can give a prize to the person who is closest to the correct score and announce the winner.)

Answer to This Week’s Trivia Question

Q. Who pined ‘But soft! What light at yonder window breaks?’

A. Romeo (from Romeo & Juliet)

Joke of the Week

Dog Owners

A couple of dog owners are arguing about whose pet is smarter.
“My dog is so smart,” says the first owner, “that every morning he waits for the paperboy to come around. He tips the kid and then brings the
newspaper to me, along with my morning coffee.”

“I know,” says the second owner.
“How do you know?”
“My dog told me.”
