A Cool Way to Show Appreciation
Contributed by Veronnica Smith
Here’s an employee morale booster that’s sure to warm everyone on a cold, dreary day.
In South Dakota, we are prone to winter blizzards. Staff are generally aware of when these are predicted. Those that make extra effort to be here or fill in for a co-worker who can’t get in, get blizzard coupons from the Dairy Queen and free meals here on campus. This extra encouragement helps create a fun atmosphere even on a dreary day.

“Nice house,” he said. “It’s even self-cleaning.”
