Employee Morale Activity:

Silly Name Day

This morale booster does not cost a dime, and will have your employees laughing all day long. Employees and supervisors get silly names for the day and wear a name tag displaying their silly names. Everyone is then called by their silly name all day long.

To create your silly name go to

http://www.confidencecenter.com/renamer.html

Follow the instructions to get your silly name.

For example, using the Renamer, my silly name is Cheeseball Bananachunks.

To add to the fun – have a pot luck lunch with silly foods. Let everyone introduce themselves using their silly names. They can also make up a Silly Job Description to add to their introduction, or if they want, create a silly poem or song. A few people can also get together to create a silly cheer, song or skit.

Give employees a few days advance notice so that they can look up their silly names on our site and prepare for Silly Name Day.
