Try This Special Way for Employees to Encourage Each Other
Contributed by Elva Vaught
Years ago when our training group seemed to be going in opposite directions, our manager handed us an assignment.
While it was clear that we needed an exercise in teamwork, the assignment was to be completed on an individual basis.
She handed us a sheet of paper listing everyone’s name with one blank next to each name.
The directions were simple, think of one quality you admired about each person, and write it next to his or her name.
The administrator then took what we wrote, and on nice stationary typed a separate list of positive qualities for each employee. She then adorned each with a ribbon.
I still have mine after all these years.

A. Papyrus
Joke of the Week
As I stood in front of the mirror, carefully arranging my rapidly thinning hair, my four-year-old son, Carey, climbed up on the bathtub next to me and looked me over closely.
Suddenly he jumped down, raced into the kitchen and said to my wife, “Mommy, Daddy is still growing!” “Still growing?” she asked. “What do you mean, Carey?”
“Well,” Carey replied, “his head is coming through his hair!”
