Employee Morale

Write an Employee Newsletter that Will Create Company Loyalty

An employee newsletter will bond your employees to each other and create company loyalty. Your employees will love seeing their name in print, so be sure to give all contributing writers a by-line.

Employees love a printed newsletter because it can be taken home and shared with family and friends.

Decisions You Need to Make About Your Newsletter

  • How often will you print the newsletter? Monthly, every other month, or quarterly.
  • Who will write the newsletter? You may want to assign responsibility to a different committee or team of employees for each issue.
  • How many copies will you need?
  • How many pages will your newsletter be?
  • How will you print the newsletter? – Most can be done on a company computer and copier. For very large distributions a copy store may be better.

Here are some things employees can contribute.

  • Movie reviews
  • Recipes
  • Employee spotlight
  • Birthdays
  • Family news
  • Poetry
  • Inspirational Stories
  • Sports
  • Puzzles
  • Trivia
  • Community events
