So, create a committee of spirit minded employees and start planning.<\/p>\n<p>* Decorate<\/p>\n<p>You can decorate your office for the whole month of October. Make it a group effort where everyone can use their creativity to make decorations.<\/p>\n<p>Create a haunted house atmosphere with ghosts, spiders and spider webs, jack-o-lanterns, black cats, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Employees will be excited to make their creative contribution.<\/p>\n<p>* Monday &#8211; Jack-O-Lantern Contest<\/p>\n<p>Pumpkin decorating contest. Employees bring in their decorated pumpkins to display.<\/p>\n<p>To light the Jack-O-Lanterns without using real candles, use small battery operated candles.<\/p>\n<p>Award prizes to the<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>most creative,<\/li>\n<li>ugliest,<\/li>\n<li>scariest,<\/li>\n<li>prettiest,<\/li>\n<li>largest &amp;<\/li>\n<li>smallest.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Get patterns for making creative Jack-O-Lanterns at http:\/\/www.pumpkinmasters.com\/<\/p>\n<p>* Tuesday &#8211; Scavenger Hunt<\/p>\n<p>Have a scavenger hunt for Halloween Candy and Goodies.<\/p>\n<p>* Wednesday &#8211; Wear a funny hat or wig day.<\/p>\n<p>Give prizes for the wackiest.<\/p>\n<p>* Thursday &#8211; Cookie Contest<\/p>\n<p>Each person brings in a dozen or more decorated homemade cookies. Cookies are judged on taste and design.<\/p>\n<p>Serve witches brew with the cookies &#8211; punch in a black pot.<\/p>\n<p>* Friday &#8211; Costume Contest<\/p>\n<p>Everyone can either dress up in costume &#8211; or wear black and orange. Award prizes for costumes. Get an audio tape of scary Halloween sounds and play it at times during the day. Seven<\/p>\n<h4>Joke of the Week<\/h4>\n<p>A new manager spends a week at his new office with the manager he is replacing. On the last day the departing manager tells him, &#8220;I have left three numbered envelopes in the desk drawer. Open an envelope if you encounter a crisis you can&#8217;t solve.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Three months down the track there is a major drama, everything goes wrong &#8211; the usual stuff &#8211; and the manager feels very threatened by it all. He remembers the parting words of his predecessor and opens the first envelope. The message inside says &#8220;Blame your predecessor.&#8221; He does this and gets off the hook.<\/p>\n<p>About half a year later, the company is experiencing a dip in profits, combined with serious product problems. The manager quickly opens the second envelope. The message read, &#8220;Reorganize.&#8221; This he does, and the company quickly rebounds.<\/p>\n<p>Three months later, at his next crisis, he opens the third envelope.
