Take the whole month to appreciate everything and everyone that is a part of your life.

Appreciation makes you feel good. It also improves your relationships.

Activity ideas:

Make a Gratitude List. Write down everything that you appreciate. Have at least 100 things on your list. This will make you stretch your thinking to the many things we take for granted.

In a group of 5-7 people, take turns saying one thing that you appreciate. See how many times you can go around the group until everyone runs out of ideas. Observe the positive energy that gratitude creates.

Write Thank You letters everyone you know in your company or organization. Be specific about one thing you appreciate about each person. Thank you letters can be saved and re-read over and over, and may be treasured for many years.

More Celebrations for November:

FAMILY STORIES MONTH –

www.scrapbookstorytelling.com

AMERICAN DIABETES MONTH –

www.diabetes.org &

www.diabetes-sight.org

NATIONAL ADOPTION AWARENESS MONTH – with a National Adoption Day usually held on the 3rd Saturday of the month. –

www.NationalAdoptionDay.org

NATIONAL AMERICAN INDIAN HERITAGE MONTH

NATIONAL FAMILY CAREGIVERS MONTH – to honor family members who care for aging relatives or those with disabilities.

NATIONAL MARROW AWARENESS MONTH –

www.marrow.org

NATIONAL HOSPICE MONTH –

http://www.nhpco.org/

Special Event Days to Celebrate in November:

7 – NATIONAL MEN MAKE DINNER DAY – Or you could have men make lunch at work day.
