Starr

At our community, our employees are encouraged to write a Caring Heart note when they see another employee do a good deed for someone else.

The “Love Notes” are put in a locked Heart Shaped Box for a month. At the end of the month, at the Employee All Associates Meeting, a “Caring Heart” note is randomly selected and read to all. Along with the recognition, a gift card is given and a note of appreciation.

All the rest of the Caring Heart Notes are stapled on a pretty ribbon and draped in the employee lounge for all to read.

This has been a tradition since 1996 and it promotes good will and appreciation to all.

This is a great idea to use for Valentines Day.

Answer to This Week’s Trivia Question

Q. Are you kidding?”

The interviewer replies, “Yeah, but you started it.”

Free Employee Morale Video Series

See free videos on how to create employee spirit teams: Get Instant Access to the Employee Spirit Team Magic Video Series

(c) Copyright 2014 Harriet Meyerson, The Confidence Center

Looking for a thoughtful way to show employee appreciation?
