I wanted to pass on to you what our company does to give a vehicle to employees to say thank you to each other.<\/p>\n

We have a Co-Worker Appreciation Day once a year and we provide some fun activities and forms for them to write some kind words to a co-worker.<\/p>\n

This year we’re using a card with a candy bar attached. Each employee gets one at the beginning of the day, and they are asked to write a kind note of thanks on the card and give it and the candy bar to a deserving co-worker.<\/p>\n

We also have a “Way To Go O’Gram” form available throughout our company, all year long, for impromptu thank you’s for employees to use.<\/p>\n

Joke of the Week<\/h4>\n

One of our packaging machines broke down, and no one could figure out why. The manufacturer sent a technician, who looked at the machine for five seconds, then tightened a bolt. And it ran.<\/p>\n

He handed me a bill for $150, and when I questioned the charge, he explained,<\/p>\n

“I charged you $5 for tightening the bolt; finding the right bolt to tighten cost you $145.”<\/p>\n
