I am organizing a new audio book club to create an on-the-road entertainment library that will be available to all employees. Employees need to register to the club to become a member, and then they will receive their own key to the library.<\/p>\n

Members may lend or borrow audio books donated by themselves or other members. In addition, our company will purchase 25-30 new audio books to add to the collection.<\/p>\n

Here is a questionnaire that I sent to employees:<\/p>\n

What type of audio books would you like to hear from our library?<\/p>\n

Do you enjoy fiction subjects such as Mysteries, Detective Stories, Suspense\/Thrillers, Romance? If yes, which?<\/p>\n

How about non-fiction like Psychology, Self-help, NewLanguages, Politics, Biographies? If yes, which?<\/p>\n

Are there specific best seller titles you are interested in? (We want to purchase selections you will actually borrow and enjoy.)<\/p>\n

Do you have any audio books you would care to donate?<\/p>\n

The Audio Book Club goal is to do something special for employees so they can make good use of time on the road and arrive at work in a cheerful mood.<\/p>\n

For one of our first dates, my husband-to-be wanted to impress me by taking me to lunch at an exclusive business club downtown. Never having been to one, I was a little nervous. He assured me that he would be watching for my entrance, as the elevator faced the dining room.<\/p>\n

When the elevator door opened, I saw a room full of people. The receptionist, seeing me hesitate, asked if she could help. Scanning the room, I said, “I’m looking for Mr. Wright.”<\/p>\n

“Aren’t we all, my dear!” she laughed. “Aren’t we all.”<\/p>\n
