Creative Juices – A Cool Idea<\/h3>\n

It is hot all over the country. Here’s a cool idea. Bring a blender to work and ask employees to bring in fruit, yogurt, and other ingredients they need to create their favorite smoothies.<\/p>\n

Each person makes enough of their recipe for everyone to sample. Have the juices available in pitchers in the snack area.<\/p>\n

Print the contributor’s name and recipe and place next to each one.<\/p>\n

To encourage participation, make a contest out of this with employees voting for their favorite drink. The top three winners get prizes.<\/p>\n

To learn more about her students, my son’s teacher sent home a lengthy questionnaire at the beginning of the school year. It asked about their likes and dislikes, and even included a question relating to their self-image: “When you look in a mirror, what do you see?”<\/p>\n

My literal ten-year-old son had no trouble with his answer: “Myself, and everything behind me.”<\/p>\n
